Midland Squadron Events — 2013

Midland Home and Garden Show

Again this year, we manned our Midland Squadron booth at the Shriner’s Home Show. Many folks stopped by to inquire about our course offerings, sign up for our upcoming courses, purchase their tickets for our upcoming Graduation Celebration/Annual General Meeting scheduled for May 11th. Many thanks go out to our squadron bridge and a few new members who participated.

2013 Boating Course Graduation / Annual General Mtg.

May 11th was the occasion of our squadron’s Annual General Meeting with its “change of watch” to install the new bridge and begin to plan for the events of the coming years. Following the AGM was our graduation celebration to welcome the newest members of the squadron, those who’ve successfully passed the Boating Essentials course from the fall of 2012 and the winter of 2013. CPS 75th Anniversary Flag Celebration

June 3rd the squadron bridge members and several local dignitaries gathered at the Midland Town Dock at 1 o’clock to receive our celebratory flag, sign the register accompanying the travelling anniversary flag.
