Who should take this course?
You are a novice or experienced boater, who wants to extend your boating skills and better understand the value and use of a GPS system. This 6-week course provides this information and is taught by knowledgeable volunteers who are also experienced boaters.
The course includes:
understanding the use and value of an on-board GPS system and the Global Positioning System,
studying the principles of electronic navigation with chart plotters,
learning to apply these principles including way points, etc.
